Job Description


Our client, a leading Pro AV electronics manufacturer is looking for a Director of Pro AV  Sales.  The right candidate will have experience  within the connectivity and management solutions vertical within the  IT and Pro AV industries and have experience leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of Sales Executives.  This position is located in  NYC Metropolitan New Jersey.

Duties:
  • Deliver and drive strong sales messaging regarding the company' s resources and products
  • Improve and maximize dealer and channel partner effectiveness in selling company related products
  • Manage and drive success within the sales team to increase results
  • Work with marketing and other department heads to increase effectiveness in product messaging
  • Increase market presence and awareness both on line and face to face through an effective product messaging campaign
  • Provide tools and guidance to dealers and channel partners to invest in growing sales
  • Regularly meet with sales team on a weekly basis both virtual and in person while also accompanying sales executives on selected  field customer visits

Requirements:
  • Between 7-15 years of experience successfully selling within  the electronics industry with experience in the connectivity and management solutions vertical of IT and Pro AV and in particular within KVM Switching Technology.
  • At Least 5 years of proven success managing sales executives
  • Experience managing manufacturer authorized dealers as well as channel partners
  • Proven experience in creating a national sales plan and implementing successfully to the sales force 
  • Bachelors Degree
